As Asiapro Multi-Purpose Cooperative continues to grow, it ventured into mainstream business operations such as toll manufacturing, construction, aviation services, and the like. Now, we have entered the hotel and restaurant industry which paved the way for Hotel and Restaurant Management business platform.
Asiapro is not new to the to this industry as it has previously served in the food and beverages and hotel management industries. In taking a new path in the Hotel and Restaurant Management, it aims to provide an end-to-end value chain services which includes commissary, logistics, and customer relations. Additionally, among its services are hotel management, housekeeping management, and restaurant management. With this new set-up, Hotel and Restaurant Management team operates the front-of-the-house, which is the restaurant operations and management such as guest relations and serving, and the back-of-the-house, which refers to purchasing, cooking lines, and administrative functions. Having said these, this team is currently providing service from handling accounting, inventory, audit, marketing, to crews and chef.
With this new endeavor, instead of billing per man-hours, Hotel and Restaurant Management now bills on a performance-based or output-based agreement which gives the management the responsibility to improve efficiency and productivity of the cooperative members. And because its services are aligned with the Department of Labor and Employment in terms of quality and safety, it leaves no worries for the clients to assure quality work and healthy workplace – which means better productivity for the members.
Furthermore, clients need not worry about the administrative tasks as Hotel and Restaurant Management team takes care of human resource services such as recruitment, payroll, employee engagement, and continuous trainings and development for the members.
As said by Samantha Jace Concepcion, the head of Hotel and Restaurant team, “To better ensure quality service to our clients, our members are given certifications related to the HRM industry. Moreover, tools and equipment tied to productivity and efficiency of the members are also given. Of course, these will not all be possible without my dedicated and flexible team who is with me along this journey.”
