Worklife Stories is a documentary/interview Series that’s published in Worklife Cooperative’s Official Facebook Page. The goal of the series is to showcase long term Worklife members, how the Cooperative shaped and changed their lives for the better. Through inspiring stories and work, the members of Worklife were able to share their journey under the Cooperative.
Ramil Pascua a Foreman deployed in DMCI Skyway Manila
Ramil has been working under Worklife for almost 7 years. His favorite part of his job is reading the plans for a certain project he said with a bright smile “How they form a diaphragm I’m happy Sir that what I see is something that I can teach, I can share my knowledge with my co-workers about this job.
“The Foreman is responsible for scheduling, co-ordinating and supervising the work of all site operatives, ensuring that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget along with managing equipment and materials required”. - barhale.co.uk
Worklife has helped Ramil with his finances he said, the needs, the education of his children and his family has been well supported through working at Worklife. His favorite part about Worklife is even if he does not look for a job, Worklife approaches and provides a job opportunity for him. Ramil said that even when the pandemic occurred they did not lose any job because of Worklife. Ramil’s advice “I don’t have anything negative to say about Worklife, all the necessities I needed they gave it to me, once you need something it’s easy to ask for help from them, they give you a loan form when you are in need they are there for you.”
“I won’t last in the Cooperative if Worklife is not important to me” he said with confidence in his eyes.
