When the prospect to be a possible support services provider for a client in Davao surfaced, Asiapro saw an opportunity for the cooperative to venture on to a new business platform to further diversify and expand its horizons in the Philippine Aviation Industry.  As Asiapro maintains its compliance with the regulatory environment, specifically the Department Order 174 which prohibits labor-only contracting, going into such business enabled the cooperative to continuously provide sustainable livelihood to its members, and of course, give the highest quality service to its clients. Consequently, in order to be able to penetrate the main stream aviation services in Manila, Asiapro embarked on the application for Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) Accreditation, which was later on released, and the Aviation Services was formally established.

Despite being new, Asiapro’s Aviation Services has already established its name in the Aviation industry, with the clients trusting us to deliver quality service. Truly, Aviation Services did not disappoint. Ever since its establishment in 2018, it has continuously grown both in revenue and member count. One might wonder how such a newly formed business was able to penetrate the industry. These are all done by our dedicated team who are experts in the Aviation Industry. With their experience coupled with their knowledge in the industry, they are able to effectively handle large clients which served as its marketers through word of mouth the kind of quality service that it provides.

Through the leadership of Michael “Mike” Ortiz, who has over 20 years of extensive experience in the various facets of aviation operations such as ground handling, aircraft cleaning and cargo handling, among others, Asiapro’s Aviation Services has been easily known in the industry. According to Mike, his group’s unbounded commitment to serve and improve the lives of the cooperative members enabled them to easily work towards their goal, taking by heart of course the cooperative’s principles. Compared to other service providers in the industry, with the quality service that the team exerted towards the members, it reflected to the clients which themselves, as earlier stated, served as Asiapro’s Aviation Services’ own marketers.

More than a year after its establishment, Asiapro’s Aviation Services incessantly gives pride to the cooperative and surely, there are still a lot more to look forward to in this business platform. Essentially, living up to our purpose of inspiring meaningful and fulfilled lives with our members.
